Apart from this, several field trips were also organised for the students, for the benefit of learning through experiences and from actual handling of facts and data. As a part of their course on Indian Architectural Identities, the class alongside with the course instructor decided to pay a visit to the Meenakshi Temple, as well as to Anekal, Begur temple and Fort. The idea behind this visit was to enable learners to interact with an architecture in person. It is believed that space can have various meanings, for various subjectivities. That space and place are two undefined concepts, which we continue using in our everyday life but do not always understand properly about. And in respect to that, this field trip was a success.
